Collaboration Lab

Operations

Computing Center room 180, phone 346-4382:

Saturday - Sunday	9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Outside of the above hours, the systems are available with no operator coverage. This means that no output is available from the printers and no tape mounts can be requested.

The UNIX systems are re-booted Tuesday at 7:00 AM. Banner is unavailable 7:00pm - Midnight on Friday nights due to backup. The systems may also occasionally be unavailable due to hardware maintenance or software upgrades; these activities are scheduled on the second weekend of the month, whenever possible, as needed. Prior notice of additional planned down-time will be posted as needed. Changes to the operating schedule are posted on Message-of-the-Day or Notice facilities with at least a one-day lead time when possible.
