Drummond Sardell Rachel Drummond Sardell is an English Instructor at the American English Institute. She has an M.Ed. from the University of Oregon in Middle and Secondary Education, with an emphasis in teaching ESOL and Spanish. Her area of interest is interactive learning technology and she has previously co-presented workshops about pedagogical applications for podcasts. Nancy Cheng Nancy Yen-wen Cheng, AIA, teaches architectural design
and digital media. Her research focuses on how tools and methods shape
the design process. She combines high-tech and high-touch in using a
digital pen that generates sketch animations to capture, analyze and
teach graphic thinking. She has imported hand-drawn lines to generate
computerized wood carvings, looking at how the hand, machine and material

Amy Harter Chinese Flagship coordinator for the Oregon Chinese K-16 Flagship. She provides structural and administrative support between the K-12 and University of Oregon Flagship programs. She coordinates between university departments, recruits and advises students, and maintains program and budget reports.
