For Data Privacy Week 2026, UO’s Information Security Office offers tips to stay informed and proactive about protecting your data against cyber threats.

• Activate 1Password, the password manager available free to all UO students, faculty, and staff.
• Check whether your email accounts have been found in data breaches.
• Update a weak password.
• Get tips for managing privacy settings.
