Body

The website where you reset your Duck ID password every six months—known as Duck ID Account Management—will be unavailable for up to seven hours Wednesday morning.

  • Date: Wednesday, Oct. 21
  • Time: 5:00 a.m.–noon

What to expect during downtime

  • Password changes won’t be possible.
  • People can’t claim new Duck ID accounts.
  • Duck ID logins to other UO services will still work.

After the maintenance

  • Duck ID Account Management may look slightly different.
  • Certain account changes—like to student records or job records—may take an extra day or two to appear in the system.

Why do this now?

  • Our system needs a critical infrastructure update from the vendor.
  • To minimize disruption to the UO community, we’ve scheduled this work during a quieter week for the Duck ID system, starting early in the morning.

Questions?

  • Visit the IT Service Status website. Information Services staff post notices about planned maintenance, plus in-the-moment updates if work runs long or causes unexpected problems.
  • Contact UO IT staff. Submit a ticket at Duck ID accounts or contact the Technology Service Desk.
