Guest Wi-Fi access gets new look and feel July 1

Starting July 1, visitors to UO campuses will experience a new landing page for connecting to the UO Guest Wi-Fi network. Wireless service will remain the same.

New look for UO Guest

  • Login page will get a new look and feel, with campus photography.
  • Checkbox for accepting terms of use will be easier to find.

Which Wi-Fi network should I use?

  • UO Secure: Recommended Wi-Fi network for all UO students, staff, and faculty.
  • UO Guest: Intended for short-term visitors to the UO, such as:
    • Parents and families of UO students
    • Conference attendees
    • Guest speakers
    • Tourists
  • eduroam: Available to visitors from participating institutions, including Oregon State University, Portland State University, and thousands of others.

Why the change?

  • The university is replacing our current wireless network with new software and hardware. This is one step in that process.
