New UO Women in Technology group hosts first event June 4

The UO’s new chapter of Women in Technology invites faculty and staff members to its inaugural event on Thursday, June 4.

Bridging the Gender Gap in Tech

  • The peer-led group is part of a global movement dedicated to bridging the gender gap in the tech industry.
  • The group welcomes UO employees who identify as women, as well as nonbinary people and allies who are comfortable in a space focused on and driven by the experiences of women working in tech.

Connect and create

  • Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with their peers and do a low-pressure group art project.
  • No art experience is needed. All materials will be provided.
